Cast The Past

Cast The Past! Bring your family to fish on the Paw Paw River at the kayak launch in Lawrence. The event will be June 17th, 2023 from 12pm-3pm. Rain or shine. Have fun fishing and learn about the long history of lure manufacturing in the area and see a display of the coveted collectable Paw Paw Wotta Frog Lures. One of these famous lures will be raffled off. Kids under 17 do not need a fishing license. Hot dogs and soft drinks will be available. A $5 donation for children’s cancer research is encouraged but not required.
