  • Rain Garden & Rain Barrel Workshop

    Learn all about installing and maintaining rain gardens and rain barrels at this informational workshop in April! Elkhart Soil and Water Conservation District will be hosting this session about conserving water in your own yard from 5:00 PM Ð 6:30 PM at the EEC on two separate nights: April 23rd and April 30th (guests only need to register for ONE evening).

    Space is limited. Advance registration is required and can be completed at https://elkhart-environmental-center.ticketleap.com/

    This workshop is a requirement for the Rain Garden & Rain Barrel Reimbursement program through the ECSWCD; it is open to the public as well.

    *Please note: This is an informational session; we will not be building rain barrels at this workshop.

    Back by popular demand, we are hosting our Bat House Workshops once again this spring! We will be hosting two sessions - one on Thursday, April 25th and the other on Friday, April 26th Ð at the EEC, with both being held from 5:30 PM Ð 7:00 PM on their respective nights. Attendees of both workshops will learn about the interesting lives of bats, globally and locally, and build their very own bat house to install at home!

  • Cycle Works Vintage Show and Swap Meet

    We invite the Public and Motorcycle Enthusiasts to our 8th Annual Goshen Indiana Vintage Motorcycle Show & Swap Meet.
    The Event will be SUNDAY, April 28th and is located at Cycle Works LLC; 1210 East Lincoln Ave in Goshen.
    General Admission is FREE and the event opens at 11:00am.Ê
    The Event will last till the Award ceremony, which begins at 3:00pm.
    Signup and setup time for Show and Swap Meet is from 8:00am to 11:00am. Admission/Entry for Vintage Motorcycle Show is FREE, and will be divided into 7 separate classes: Best British, European, Japanese, Domestic, Competition, Moped/Scooter, & Snowmobile.Ê
    Show Vehicles must be 1994 or Older.
    There will be 1st and 2nd place trophies available for each class, and a Special Award given for Oldest Motorcycle.
    Swap Meet entry is $10 per vendor, PLEASE NO COMMERCIAL VENDERS.
    This is a Family-oriented, all outdoor EVENT.

  • Kosciusko County National Day of Prayer Noon Service

    The Kosciusko County National Day of Prayer service will be held at noon on May 2nd at the Winona Heritage Room, 901 Park Ave in Winona Lake. Ken Locke, of the Salvation Army, will serve as the master of ceremonies and invite attendees to offer up prayers at each table. We aim to "Lift Up the Word" so Christ will "Light Up the World". The event will be livestreamed at https://facebook.com/kosciuskondp.

  • Shoe Drive

    Pathway Church is conducting a shoe drive fundraiser throughout May and June to raise funds for missions and to impact the world. Anyone can help by donating gently worn, used and new shoes at Pathway Church located at 2950 Lakeview Avenue in St. Joseph, Michigan. There is a collection box outside the main entrance.

    All donated shoes will then be shipped to micro-entrepreneurs in developing nations who sell the shoes in their community to help lift themselves out of poverty. By donating shoes to Pathway Church, you will make a difference in peopleÕs lives around the world.

  • Shanna Zolman Mahaley ÒBack Home Again in IndianaÓ

    Shanna Zolman Mahaley, a Syracuse, Wawasee High School and Indiana basketball legend and past member of Fellowships of Christian Athletes returns for one night to her hometown. She will discuss how the ÒDefinite Dozen Leadership PrincipalsÓ and faith shaped her skills on the basketball court and in her everyday life. Her basketball career started at Wawasee High School and while there she was named Indiana Miss Basketball as a senior. She continued onto The University of Tennessee, Knoxville playing for legendary coach Pat Summitt and finally for two different teams in the WNBA.
