He has spent over 20 collective years as the baritone singer for the GRAMMY award-winning Gaither Vocal Band. Mac Powell co-founded the Christian rock band Third Day, selling over 10 million albums throughout its nearly three-decade career, earning four GRAMMY Awards, and more. Since Third Day’s farewell tour, Mac released his debut solo Christian album, New Creation, in 2021, which landed at No. 1 on the Top Christian & Gospel Album Chart, followed by his most recent album released in 2024, I Love Jesus. Powell is known for his hits like “River of Life” and “God of Wonders.”
