SUMMARY:Natural Dye Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us for another Natural Dye Workshop with guest presenter Julie Tourtillotte on Friday\, September 19th! From 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the EEC\, learn how to dye fabrics with beautiful dyes made from local plants such as goldenrod and walnut. All participants will be provided with a ready-to-dye bandana to use to experiment with natural dye methods\, but guests are welcome to bring their own items to dye\, as well (see note below).  \nRegistration for this workshop is $10 per person. Advance registration is limited and required by Tuesday\, September 16th. To register\, please visit https://elkhart-environmental-center.ticketleap.com/  \nParticipants are welcome to bring up to three of their own items to dye. All items must be made from 100% natural\, untreated cloth (e.g. cotton\, linen\, hemp\, silk\, wool\, etc.) and should be no larger than a t-shirt. \nThis workshop is limited to ages 12+.
